Hi my name is Graeme Petersen I have been a marriage celebrant since 2001 and a member of the Celebrants Association of New Zealand Inc. Since then I have officiated at many weddings. I treat each wedding as the unique celebration of two people’s loving relationship that it is. With many years experience as a Celebrant, I enjoy developing a suitable wedding service with couples, my aim is to make your special day as unique, memorable, fun and stress free

To my ceremonies I bring warmth and humour, a well-written ceremony delivered with style and ease, and a day that runs smoothly, relaxing even the most nervous of couples.

As a marriage celebrant, I begin the process by getting together with the you. Together we explore what it is you really want for your ceremony, as well as talking about yourself and your relationship. Then I help you to put together a special ceremony for you. I can help you with other things as well, I supply you a wedding planner to help you plan your day and other ideas to help make it your special day; I believe each couple and their relationship are unique.

Once we have a draft of your ceremony we go over it to make any changes you wish, ensuring that you are happy with every word spoken. As well as this, I can guide you through the legal process, and bring resources such as readings and examples of wedding vows etc.

If you are a resident overseas. The getting-to-know-you process is then done by email. I also have a webcam, and can be contacted using "Skype" This has proved just as effective in providing me with enough good material to assist you write have a very special ceremony.

A day or two before the wedding comes the rehearsal. I facilitate this, guiding the couple and other participants through the ceremony. Then on the wedding day, I ensure that everything the couple want in their ceremony is in place, and that it runs smoothly.

My level of presentation is high, with a warm delivery style and a clear, audible voice. A wedding is all about love, and of course it’s also about commitment.

My commitment to each couple is to ensure that their wedding reflects who they are and what they want to say – to their friends and families, and to each other.

My fee is set when we meet for the first time and is all inclusive and includes the supply of my sound system for your wedding day so as everyone is able to hear what is being said
